What is standard turnaround time & rush printing?
Turnaround times once your order has been paid for. It takes about 10-14 business days to complete your order. During the busy season, it can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks. Please plan accordingly! We can rush print your project for additional fees.
Do we provide the blank garments?
Yes! We typically prefer to purchase your blank goods ourselves to streamline the process. We like to order a few extras to make sure any misprints are taken care of. If a customer provides us with goods, we can’t provide additional garments to cover misprints, manufacturing defects, etc.
Can Big Red Prints help with designs?
Yes! We have a background in typography design, simple line work & creation, public domain art, general graphic design and project direction. Simple projects needing a design will come with your order but if it is more complex, we will charge by the hour. We are happy to provide free graphic design for various graphics that take around 30 to 45 minutes to create.
What type of art file do we need?
The best type of art file is one created with Adobe Illustrator or other vector-based programs. These files will have extensions like .AI and .SVG.
The second best option is an Adobe Photoshop file with a minimum of 300 dpi at real time size. These files have extensions like .PSD when saved or .PNG when exported.
How are your orders priced?
Every project is different so there can be many factors. Here are the things you want to think about when placing your order:
Quantity - The more custom items you order, the cheaper the per unit cost is.
Amount of colors - Each color requires another screen that gets set up on the press. The more colors you use in your design, the more screens you will have to purchase.
Standard vs. custom colors - We offer a standard list of colors for free. All custom colors are charged per color. We are able to accommodate about 95% of all colors but may not be exact.
Amount of print locations - Adding a new location means we will print the 1st location, breakdown everything we did, and setup another set of screens for the 2nd location. You receive discounts when you add a 2nd or 3rd location to your custom product!
Deadline - If you need your order before 10 days from payment, we will apply rush fees and produce the project as a rush order. If we are not too busy, we can sometimes offer a quick turnaround regardless. You should always prepare a merch order between 3-6 weeks from the due date.
Shipping - We ship UPS Ground unless otherwise noted. Customer pays for final product shipping. We offer free pick up in Philadelphia & if the schedule allows, we will deliver your box of custom merchandise for free within Philadelphia.
